Zhao Yanchun is director of the Center for Literature, Linguistics & Cultural Studies, Tianjin Foreign Studies University, Distinguished Professor of Tianjin, and Top Humanities Professor of China while holding other positions such as Editor of Translating China, co-editor of TFSU Journal, and a general editor of a book series. He works as a guest professor in 6 universities such as Sun Yat-sen University and China University of Agriculture. His area of interest includes translatology, linguistics and philosophy. Zhao has published twenty books: 7 monographs, and thirteen translations, and more than 80 academic papers.
