Lyu Shisheng holds a BA in English literature, and a MA in Translation Studies and Ph D in Economics from Nankai University. He has 12 years of experience as a full time technical and business interpreter and translator in China Petroleum Corp. His academic interests include Literary Translation, Culture Studies, etc. He is currently offering the courses of Comparative Study of Chinese and English Languages, Literary Translation Studies for post graduate program at Nankai University.
He has published 18 CSSCI- or SSCI-indexed research articles, one monograph, etc, over the past five years and has been working on a State funded project on drama translation.
